 Mi nombre es Julio. Soy venezolano y, aunque salí de mi país hace años para construir una nueva vida en Estados Unidos, mi corazón siempre ha estado allá. Ver a mis compatriotas atrapados bajo los escombros me parte el alma y no puedo quedarme de brazos cruzados. Por eso inicio esta recaudación: para ayudar a las familias en Venezuela que lo perdieron todo de la noche a la mañana. Padres buscando agua limpia para sus hijos, familias durmiendo afuera porque sus casas ya no existen, heridos que necesitan medicinas urgentemente. Las zonas más afectadas, como La Guaira, serán el destino de tu ayuda. 
 
 
 Cada dólar recaudado irá directamente a comida y agua potable para familias que no tienen nada, medicinas y kits de higiene para prevenir enfermedades, refugio de emergencia para quienes perdieron sus hogares y reparaciones para que las viviendas dañadas sean seguras nuevamente. Tengo una persona de confianza en Venezuela que se asegurará de que la ayuda llegue a las manos correctas y, siempre que sea posible, los suministros se comprarán localmente para que la ayuda llegue más rápido y cada dólar rinda más.  On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes — the strongest Venezuela has seen in more than a century — struck the country’s northern coast. Hundreds of people have died or been injured. Buildings collapsed, families lost their homes, and entire communities are now without food, clean water, or shelter. The state of La Guaira has been declared a disaster zone. 
 
 
 My name is Julio. I’m Venezuelan, and though I left my country years ago to build a new life in the United States, my heart has always stayed there. Watching my fellow Venezuelans trapped under the rubble, I can’t stand by and do nothing. That’s why I’m starting this fundraiser — to help the families on the ground in Venezuela who lost everything overnight. The parents searching for clean water for their kids, the families sleeping outside because their homes are gone, and the injured who need medicine right now. The hardest-hit areas, like La Guaira, are where your help will go. 
 
 
 Every dollar raised will go directly to food and clean water for families with nothing left, medicine and hygiene kits to prevent illness, emergency shelter for those who lost their homes, and repairs to make damaged homes safe again. I have a trusted person on the ground in Venezuela who will make sure the aid reaches the right hands, and whenever possible, supplies will be purchased locally so the help arrives faster and every dollar goes further. This is not a benefit for me — it’s for them. Every single dollar will be documented, and I will publish receipts, photos, and videos of every delivery in a public record you can check anytime.
