Earthquake Relief for Lombok & Gili

On August 5th a powerful earthquake hit Lombok in Indonesia. Hundreds of people were killed and thousands of people were injured. Many buildings and homes were destroyed which has left thousands of people without shelter or basic necessities, such as power and running water.
The neighbouring island of Gili T was also affected, with extensive damage to people's homes and businesses.
We've seen first hand the devastating impact this is having on the local people, many of whom are now homeless. So we want to do something to help.
Our aim is to raise money to help the local people rebuild their homes and to make sure they have access to food, water and shelter. We are currently buying blankets and tents, as we've been told by the locals that they are in desperate need of these. And with the help of Mojo Surf we will be delivering the first shipment to Lombok on Monday.
A blanket only costs $8. And a tent costs $100.
Together, with all of our Intro Travel staff, both in Bali and around the world, along with our customers and friends, we want to try and raise $5,000. If you can spare $8 you will be really helping one of the locals to stay warm at night. And we guarantee that 100% of the money everyone donates will go directly to the families in need.
