<div>Syam has helped over 500 families in the rural amazigh areas of Marrakesh and Agadir. We never expected to be faced with such an emergency in this area with over 1000 fatalities and countless injured by a 6.8 Earthquake which hit the south of Morocco in the early nights of September 9th. Unfortunately the people in these regions were already in dire need of help and now they need it more as many have been faced with homelessness, death, medical bills and lack of essential supplies overnight. Syam team is working to get on the ground by September 11th to start the distribution of aid, however we do have members of our team already on the ground!
