Un viaggio per sognare ecosistemi formativi e imprenditoriali sostenibili

Questo progetto si propone di diffondere un metodo formativo alternativo (consolidato dall’Istituto Artigianelli di Trento da più di dieci anni), al fine di creare un ecosistema che dia ai giovani le capacità necessarie per affrontare le sfide moderne, in chiave di innovazione ma soprattutto di sostenibilità. La creazione di un network scolastico esteso a più scuole, in più paesi, con la partecipazione di aziende e università provenienti da background diversi garantirebbe una crescita del capitale sociale disponibile, fondamentale per gettare basi solide di una società attenta a determinati valori che, in un feedback positivo, porterebbero benefici alla società stessa. Il superamento delle offerte formative tradizionali, ormai inadeguate al contesto storico, si rende necessario al fine di promuovere un’educazione, tra gli altri valori, al vivere in maniera sostenibile. 

Il ruolo delle aziende che decideranno di prendere parte a questo percorso sarà quello di garantire gli scope of works delle attività che verranno svolte a scuola, ovvero gli obbiettivi delle sfide che team di studenti saranno chiamati a raggiungere e risolvere. Come già avvenuto in passato con ottimi risultati, gruppi multidisciplinari composti da studenti liceali, studenti universitari ed esperti dell’azienda stessa lavoreranno in sinergia in diverse attività durante gli anni scolastici. 

La metodologia scelta per la promozione iniziale di questo progetto è l’evento mediatico, ovvero un viaggio a pedali dall’equatore (Quito, Ecuador) fino alla fine del mondo (Ushuaia, Argentina). Questo evento ha lo scopo di raccogliere dei fondi iniziali per creare una base economica da poter utilizzare per il finanziamento delle nuove attività (workshop, conferenze, laboratori, ecc.)che si proporranno a scuola nell’immediato futuro. Durante l’itinerario Lorenzo andrà alla ricerca principalmente di due situazioni: da una parte cercherà di essere testimone delle problematiche ambientali che affliggono il Sudamerica, dall’altra entrerà in contatto con quelle realtà che potrebbero beneficiare o contribuire alla realizzazione del progetto. Associazioni che lavorano con comunità locali per uno sviluppo sostenibile, aziende che collaborano con esse, scuole ed enti saranno il focus degli incontri. Altri piccoli eventi concomitanti (conferenze, presentazioni pubbliche) promuoveranno la raccolta fondi, mentre la scuola si renderà promotrice mediatica degli eventi e progressi durante i 10.000 km della spedizione, pubblicando e diffondendo aggiornamenti, ma anche comunicando i benefici dei questa diffusione del nuovo ecosistema scolastico.

A journey to dream of sustainable education and entrepreneurial systems

This project aims to spread an alternative pedagogic method (consolidated by the Artigianelli Institute of Trento for more than ten years), in order to create an ecosystem that gives young people the necessary skills to face modern challenges, in terms of innovation but above all of sustainability. The creation of a school network extended to several schools, in several countries, with the participation of companies and universities coming from different backgrounds would guarantee a growth of the social intellectual wealth, fundamental to lay a solid foundation for a community with certain values which, in a positive feedback, would benefit the community itself. Overcoming traditional educational offers, now inadequate for the historical context, is necessary in order to promote the education, among other values, to live in a sustainable way. 

The role of the companies that decide to take part in this process will be to guarantee the scope of the activities that will be carried out at school, that is the objectives of the challenges that teams of students will be called to reach and solve. As already happened in the past with excellent results, multidisciplinary groups composed of high school students, university students and experts of the company itself will work in synergy in different activities during the school years. 

The methodology chosen for the initial promotion of this project is the media event, or a cycling journey from the equator (Quito, Ecuador) to the end of the world (Ushuaia, Argentina). This event aims to raise initial funds to create an economic base that can be used to finance new activities (workshops, conferences, labs, etc.) that will be activated at the school in the near future. During the itinerary Lorenzo will mainly search for two situations: on one hand he will try to be a witness to the environmental problems that afflict South America, on the other he will come into contact with those realities that could benefit or contribute to the realization of the project. Associations that work with local communities for sustainable development, companies that collaborate with them, schools and institutions will be the focus of the encounters. 

The school will act as the media promoter of progress during the 10,000 km expedition, publishing and sharing updates, but also communicating the benefits of this new school ecosystem.
