Earl Sutton’s Recovery and COVID Medical Bills

Donation protected

Hello friends, family and community,

“Chances are if you have stepped within 5ft of Zeppelin Station, you probably have been greeted by, chatted with or laughed along side this man”.

Those were the words I was honored to write before parting ways with Zeppelin back in November and now I am sad to report that this same man is in the hospital and needs our help.

Shortly after the state regulations changed and the mask mandate was lifted, Earl Sutton contacted COVID 19 and was immediately hospitalized at Aurora Health for extreme health conditions. When first tested his oxygen levels were at 35% and his heart rate had gone up, triggering a life long battle with diabetes. On Sunday June 6th, Earl suffered a stroke while hospitalized and doctors found a blood clot in his brain. They were able to transfer him to Swedish Medical where an immediate surgery took place, relieving the clot. Since then Earl has been in a medically induced coma, while doctors wait for his body to heal. As of Tuesday morning they have reduced the amount of oxygen they are giving him (good sign) and he is stable, however Earl is still in a coma and still has a long way to go.

I am keeping in close contact with his twin brother Floyd Sutton who just recently suffered a head on collision from a drunk driver, also dealing with medical bills of his own. He is updating me daily with Earls condition but of course is extremely concerned about the amount of money it will take to not only keep Earl in the hospital (since Saturday now) but ongoing expenses that come with recovery. Earl has not had health insurance for quite some time and is missing paychecks as the days go on. I am hoping to offer some sort of financial relief as things get harder and harder onhim and his family.

Earl is one of the kindest, sweetest and most caring people I have ever met. He would give his left arm for the people he loves and I only hope we can pay his kind soul back for all the warmth he has given us. As a twins, Floyd is not only responsible for his brothers well being but feels all the pain that Earl is going through, as if it were his own. Please share and donate what you can. Every dollar helps. ❤️
