Hi friends
As many of you know I am going through treatment for breast cancer. I have had the surgery and gone through the chemo. Now as I prepare for my radium I am so thankful for the support i am getting. I've always known that cancer sufferers need support but I couldn't have imagined what it means to someone, until I was diagnosed myself.
Inis Aoibhinn is a support centre for families of cancer sufferers and like many of our loved ones who have used it's service I will be availing of it. This service is free for us, but it takes money to run it.
I am blessed with support from family, friends and neighbours. And as such I have decided to set up a go fund me page to raise funds for Inis Aoibhinn. I am calling it Close to my Heart, everything in my life right now means the world to me and even my cancer began there close to my heart
All your support has enabled me to stay strong through this and with your help I hope to make a difference to others.
The business people from Erris have donated so many spot prizes for a social in our local.
Teach Chongaile in Stonefield is where we will have a night of laughter and fun on December 14th.
All I hope and pray is for you all to share my event and donate whatever you can to this amazing place. It's a home away from home for cancer patients and our families
