Bringing Families from Puerto Rico

We are working on bringing families and children from Puerto Rico to Palm Beach County.

We have now secured fifty (50) hotel rooms starting this Saturday, October 7th and we are working directly with FEMA and the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. FEMA is working with us under the Transitional Shelter Act (TSA) and will cover housing support for families for up to 6 months. Even though this is a process for these families to be FEMA registered, Eagle Arts Academy is willing to help house these families until they complete the process.

We are working to register families and provide education here at our school at the Eagle Arts Academy for children kindergarten through 8th grade. We are working on hiring bi-lingual teachers, as well. We can take up to 600 children on our Wellington campus and an additional 200 at our partnered high school, G-Star School of the Arts in West Palm Beach.

Soon, we will be accepting donations including clothing, food, diapers and such as these families will be coming here with almost nothing. We will be providing additional information soon.

We are looking for support from anyone that has a private jet to assist us transferring families that do not have the financial means to purchase a plane ticket. We have also set up a special GoFundMe page. Eagle Arts Academy is a not-for-profit 501(c)3.
