Hi, my name is Drew Shorett. I’m a Life Scout in Troop 5679, and I’ve been in Scouting for 3 years. I’m now working toward the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Scouting. For my Eagle project, I am installing a fishing tackle and line recycling bin at Spring Valley Lake to protect wildlife, keep the community clean, and encourage responsible use of the lake.

This project is meaningful to me because I’m dedicating it in memory of my dad, who passed away from brain cancer.

The funds I raise will go directly toward materials for the recycling bin, signage, tools, and supplies needed to complete the project.
