Eagle Project: Restore Cal Palmer 1911 Building

Donation protected
Hello Friends & Neighbors,
This is Charles Matteson with BSA Troop 320 in Winter Garden, Florida. My Boy Scout Eagle Project is to restore the Cal Palmer Memorial Building, which is a 108 year old cabin on the National Register of Historical Places.
It measures 20 feet by 26 feet and has been on the corner of Main and 5th Street in downtown Windermere since 1911 where it served as the original Post Office. Currently, the exterior is in disrepair from rains and humidity. The project scope is to match historical accuracy, hand-wash the exterior, paint the exterior of the building white to match Town Hall, install a new American Flag and hopefully a historic marker, too.
The Windermere Historic Preservation Society is the sponsor and beneficiary of all funds. The project begins this December 2019.
I am truly grateful for your contribution and support in my effort to preserve the history of  Windermere.  Please know in advance that any donation is greatly appreciated!
Yours In Scouting,
Charles Matteson
