Mission Trip to Guatemala

We are Matthew Steckel and Bailey Adams, both of whom are in our second year at the University of Central Florida. During our first year we wanted to find a local church we could call home while in Orlando for the next four years. After one Sunday at Action Church we accomplished that objective and started attending services weekly, even joining some small groups at the Church to strenghten our faith and learn more about the gospel. A year later we come to you asking for donations to fund a mission trip to Guatemala in May. While in Guatemala we will be partnering with an alcohol rehab facility for men and two domestic and sexual abuse shelters for women and children. By sharing our faith and illustrating God's love we strongly believe we can make a positive impact in the lives of these hurt people. The cost for the mission trip is $1,900 per person, which means we are asking for $3,800 so both of us can go. The price includes flights, resources, housing, and everything we will need while in Guatemala. Thank you for your time and any donation no matter the size is greatly appreciated!
