Hi my name is James I'm trying to raise money to help support my medical bills and also i have lost my job  due to no fmla, and i  will not be able to keep my home or pay my bills. The year 2018 working and AT&T not aware that I was sick or developing cancer. I was thinking it was the job ( stress)the dizzy spells the lack of energy slight weight loss we're all signs of me developing pancreatic cancer but I was unaware of the symptoms. So at the end of the year November 2018 I left AT&T for a lesser stressful job which was Cardinal Health . I began working at Cardinal Health in November of 2018 I felt really good about the job great job no stress and I start getting sicker. I messed up on the computer applying for my insurance so I was without insurance for a couple of months unable to go to my primary doctor thinking that my diabetes was the cause of the weight loss that I was experiencing I end up losing 40 pounds in 2 months finally my supervisor at Cardinal Health help me get my insurance  instated. I went to see my primary doctor and my blood sugar was 659 I was on Metformin he sent me home me being unaware at the time mentally I did not take myself to the hospital. (I was not in my right mind) had a doctor's appointment scheduled out about a week later. I miss my doctor's appointment I was thinking it was at 2:30 when it was actually at 8:30 in the morning  a nurse's assistant called me and asked me why I was not at my appointment at 8:30 and I said to her my appointment was at 2:30 so I asked if I could come in and she said no they were full that they will have to reschedule me for a different date which  I was too ill to wait any longer so I laid in the bed for a few more hours my mind told me to get up you have enough energy and strength ,so I got up and drove myself to emergency. But beforehand my son Steven was helping me and taking care of me I laid in the bed on my vacation which was 7 days I laid in the bed unable to do anything but eat chicken broth and go to the restroom but God put it in my head and gave me the strength to get up and go to the emergency once I got to emergency my blood sugar was 529 they took me to the back administrative IV I let them know that I lost 40 lbs in 2 months this is in the month of May so once I told them that I lost 40 pounds in 2 months they did a cat-scan and a x-ray and the doctor came back and told me that they found a mass on pancreas that was approximately 3.8 in Long so they kept me in the hospital for 3 days. It was May 3rd that I went in  and i was discharged on the 6th of may. then I had doctor's appointment every week after and we went to see oncologist I had a colonoscopy had a visit with the Sergent then I had a biopsy on the day after my birthday which confirmed that I had cancer start looking for a second opinion after I seen a surgeon and the surgeon told me I had 6 to 12 months to live even after the surgery that I probably would live maybe another year to year-and-a-half after that i talked to my little sister and me and her decided that we was going to find a second opinion she found the Cancer Centers of America spoke with the staff at Cancer Centers of America schedule appointment to come down the week of July 17th and within that week of July 17th they ran every test possible to determine and see what was the best course of action to take for me.I felt very comfortable with the hospital they have been one step after another since I got here I had the surgery August the 5th which is called a Whipple surgery which they removed all the cancer from my body they remove lymph nodes but I had two positive lymph nodes so now I am doing chemotherapy which my chemotherapy started November 5th 2019 today is December 16th or December 17th which is my 4th infusion I will be doing chemo until the end of January then I will be placed on the pill form chemo and then I will be doing radiation and chemotherapy for 6 weeks 5 days out of the week and I will let you guys know how that turn out. The first 4 weeks of chemo has been pretty rough could have been worse not too bad I have not been unable to eat for about a week at a time just nibbling on a little food here and there the nausea is really bad and the dry mouth and the ability not to drink water is really terrible just a thought of it makes me sick to the stomach. So just a little of my story for now.
