Don Perico Earthquake Fund

Donation protected
We all loved eating at Don Perico's restaurant in Downtown Napa.  Their building was severely damaged by the Aug. 24th earthquake.  They have had to be closed since.  This restaurant is the sole source of income for the owners Marco and Berenice Castaneda.  While Marco and Berenice have worked hard to ensure their employees were all placed in other employment with other local restaurants, they are suffering with the loss of their livelihood.  They still do not know if the restaurant will ever be able to open again, based on the potential cost of the repairs.  However, while they and the building owner work on the long term plan, they are without income.  We thought it would be a nice gesture for those of us who have enjoyed their food, and friendly service to give back in some small way to help them in their time of need.  They are pursuing other sources of funding and aid available to earthquake victims, however, those sources take time and there is still no guarantee.

Therefore, please donate whatever amount you can spare to help bridge the gap for them while they plan their recovery from this catastrophic event.

Any amount will help, however, may we suggest that you think of the money you would have spent there anyway for lunch or dinner on a monthly basis, and donate an equivalent amount.

This money will go directly to Marco and Berenice Castenada to help them make ends meet until the fate of their beloved small business can be determined.
