Mildred's Dental Disaster

Mildred was discovered in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Her circumstances became more dire as her home (a rented space/trailer house) became unihabitable. She is a product of her childhood enviroment. Her family was very poor and Mildred, along with 4 brothers, were dropped off at a young age to the local church to be cared for. Some of the church members became foster homes and Mildred and her brothers were shuffled around. She barely finished grammer school and cannot read or write without difficulty. Her total monthly income is $770 (SSI & Social Security) With the help of local generous people she recently had cataract surgery and is being fitted for hearing aids. She desperately needs dental surgery. She takes no medicine and is in good health other than the bones that are growing in her mouth. Her "Dental Disaster" is a result of a condition called TORUS EXOSTOSES. The cost of oral surgery will be $17,700 which includes a full set of dentures.  It is very difficult for Mildred to eat.
