Jen’s Journey
Donation protected
***Update 3/08/2021***
Jen gained her angel wings yesterday, Saturday, March 6, 2021. While those of us left behind are deeply saddened and cannot fully take in what has happened, It is important to remember, Jen is no longer in pain-emotional, physical or otherwise.
If you knew Jen, laughed with, cried with, or even heard hilarious stories about Jen, you are blessed. Her soul and presence in this world is forever impactful.
Fly high beautiful angel, with so many lives lost this past year, heaven needs your infectious laughter now more than ever! Might sound cliche, but if you believe things happen for a reason, then the reason for Jen’s sudden passing is clear—Heavenly souls need Jen to help them just like we did down here!
If anyone would like to further contribute to this fundraiser, the family would be FOREVER grateful. Funeral expenses are overwhelming these days. We welcome first-time donations and repeat givers as we send Jen out in true Jen style!
Peace and Love to you all!
Our sister-in-law, Jen Thomas, is an incredibly brave, strong and loving person. It is often her that would give the very clothes off her back if it meant helping someone else in need. Right now, Jen and her family could use some loving help of their own. For the past four years, Jen has been battling a sickness that has invaded and consumed her whole body. this past week Jen received a formal diagnoses of Neimann Pick disease Type C, an incredibly rare, hereditary disease with no known cure. While this is not the best news we could’ve hoped for, it is a diagnosis and a journey for which Jen and her loved ones will need to go through. The progression of this disease has severely damaged Jen’s liver and in 2021 she will begin her journey to undergo a liver transplant. I am setting up this page so that we can all come along side Jen & Conrad and help in any way possible. There will be traveling expenses, medical tests, hospital stays, missed work, hotel stays, bills, gas, living expenses, pet expenses, everyday life expenses that are hard to cover under the best of circumstances. Please consider donating to this wonderful family. It is sometimes not easy to admit when you need help and asking for it almost seems unthinkable. This wonderful, remarkably beautiful lady (inside and out) has loved on many of us, many times over. She deserves to be loved on now. If anyone is hesitant about giving online, please feel free to contact me directly.
