Together for Christmas

Please help us to support our wonderful friend and colleague, Stacey Purchase. Stacey and her family have had a really difficult year after her partner sustained a life-changing injury. Stacey's partner is currently in hospital and she has had to put her family home up for sale as it is unsuitable for him to return to. As a family they desperately want to spend Christmas together but this hasn't been possible as she has been unable to find a property to rent that the hospital considers suitable for her partner's needs. But there is hope. Thanks to people kindly sharing Stacey's Facebook status, she has now found a fully adapted bungalow that is available over Christmas and the New Year, meaning that it would now be possible for Stacey and her family to have the Christmas that they deserve after so many months apart. However, the cost of the bungalow is prohibitive, and we would really like to help make this happen for them.


Stacey is a valued member of the St. Joseph's Comprehensive School community, and as a staff we want to support Stacey and her family to be together this Christmas. So, we have committed to running, walking and cycling a massive 2500 miles before the end of term, and we would be extremely grateful if you could support us in our efforts through sponsorship to raise enough money to cover the rental cost of the bungalow. From 3 miles to 400 miles each, over 40 members of staff have taken on the challenge, and we're determined to get to the 2500 miles together!


This family really need to be together for Christmas. Please help us to make it possible for them.
