My name is Anthony Chase Covert and I started this campaign for my mother Michelle Lucille Covert.
For those who don't know me or my mother, let me tell you why this woman means so much to me and why I am asking for help.
For as long as I can remember, my Mom has always been the person that worked full-time, cooked, cleaned, and always made sure we made it to school on time. Even when we were broke, my Mom always found a way to keep us fed and sheltered. There is not a single person out there more selfless than my Mother ❤.
In October 2017, my Mom was diagnosed with Chronic Spinal Stenosis + Diabetes. In only 4 months, she has lost over 75 lbs and has been drained of all energy and remaining youthfulness. The surgery that is needed will be expensive, but hopefully partially covered by medicaid. Photo above was taken late 2017. Photo below is from today 4-1-18.
What I aim to do with this GoFundMe is use the funds to make sure my Mom is properly taken care of and gets the best help possible before and after her surgery.
