Dignified Burial for Beloved Horse, Jax
Donation protected
Jax wasn't just any horse, he's been my mothers beloved companion for almost 30 years. Through all the ups and downs in life, Jax has been there for my mother and she has been there for Jax. Neither ever giving up on the other - even in the most difficult hardships that can happen in a persons life over the course of 27 years. Jax was the goodest of boys and a good faithful friend - and our hearts are broken over the unexpected loss. He passed unexpectedly today October 8, 2019 in the early morning after a few days of not feeling well. The normal disposal of a horse is to have someone remove the body and dump in a landfill, which we could never imagine doing to our beloved Jax. We have decided to honor his friendship by delivering him to a crematorium equipped for large animals so that we may bury him at home where he belongs. It is extremely expensive - but we have the moral obligation to dignify his death and give him the honor he rightfully deserves. If you've ever lost a horse, you understand the financial and emotional hardship you are faced with. If you've ever lost a beloved animal you know how difficult it is to let them go and say goodbye - but the intense pain of an undignified burial for our boy jax would be too much to bear.
Please consider donating to Jax's legacy as a good boy and a best friend.
