Keeping Pudge's Dream Alive

In May 2014, Pudge was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, since that time she has been in and out of the hospital. About 30 days after the cancer diagnoses; she underwent stomach surgery that removed the lower part of the stomach and reroute the some of the other passageways. She is now on six different medications, plus radiation five days a week. When she is finished with the radiation therapy, we need to get her into the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. However our insurance is a local HMO and does not have a contract with the Mayo Clinic, so they will not cover her treatment at the Mayo. The clinic requires a down paymnent of $2,500 before they will even set up an appointment. So we are asking for help from family and friends, so that she has a chance to be one of the 1% that makes it past 5 years after a pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
