Funeral expenses

My best friend unexpectedly lost her beloved father. Unfortunately there was no life insurance. He lived 3 hours away and to transport and have a funeral is more than the the family could do. 2,000 is the goal to simply have him cremated. I would hate for a person who literally does any and everything for anyone else to not even be able to cremate their beloved father. Please help if possible and god bless.
