Nijina Diandra Cross, a Gates County, NC native, was killed in a car accident on September, 6 2014. Her unexpected departure left behind two children ages 7 and 10, as well as a family and community who loved her dearly.
As a result of this loss, the Cross-Parker family is now faced with burial costs, immediate and long term needs of the surviving children, and legal counsel and aid as the investigation of the circumstances surrounding her death continues. No amount of money will bring Nijina Cross back, but the donations to this fund will represent the "village" of love, support and condolences for the surviving family, from the Gates community and beyond.
