Mami's Medical Fund

On January 9, 2018, Maria Teresa Torres de Zelaya suffered a serious stroke while visiting her family and friends in the united States.  Maria Teresa has always had the "gift of gab", and when her family did not hear hear chatting away for 15 minutes, they found her unresponsive, unable to move the right side of her body and unable to speak.  
Paramedics arrived quickly, transported Maria Teresa to the hospital where emergency care was administered.
Maria Teresa is a resident of El Salvador and what was supposed to be a happy and joyous visit has turned into a terrible situation.  She was scheduled to return to El Salvador on January 16, 2018, but this is now in serious doubt as she is currently in the ICU.  
Some movement and vocal communication has returned, thanks to the grace of God and amazing medical care, but the recovery has just begun.
As expected, costs are mounting rapidly.  There are the unbelievable medical costs (ICU care, MRIs, CT Scans, Therapy, etc.) as well as costs associated with getting her back home where she can be cared for by her children who remain in el Salvador.
Please help us in getting Maria Teresa home and assist the family with the tremendous burden of these medical costs.
