Carla Houck Emergency Medical Fund

Carla is in dire need for her finances.
Carla became seriously ill in February 2018. She was admitted into Forsyth Hospital the second week of February & still remains there trying to recover from ulcerative colitis surgery. She has had her colon completely removed. Soon after surgery she had a relapse. She had 2 drains emplanted to drain abscesses in her abdomen.
Then, a second time, another setback. Her left lung was filling with fluid which the doctors had to draw out of her. They also had to reposition the drain in her abdomen near her spleen because the abcess had grown. Just last week, the doctor had to again draw fluid from around her left lung.

Carla has not had a salary for most of this time. She has no means of paying her bills. She is not being discharged from the hospital any time soon. When she is discharged she will need months of rehabilitation to walk again before she can return to work.

Please help Carla during her time of need. Carla lives independently with her loving dog Reese Cup. She has no others means of support from anyone.

Please, find it in your heart to help Carla in anyway you can. She is a loving friend to me who I pray will make a recovery with the help of God & our Savior Jesus.
