New Boiler for Gospel Light

Currently, Gospel Light Baptist Church bases our ministry out of a building that was given to us 16 years ago. It is a beautiful building that has housed a light for many souls old and new. However, our building, while lovely, is over 100 years old. We have been able to make little improvements over the years, but some of our main systems are becoming victims of regular wear and tear. Each cold Minnesota winter, we fire up our old boiler in hopes that it will work. We have had to repair it more than a handful of times, each time costing thousands of dollars. We have even had to wait several months for parts to make repairs and had no other choice but to meet in the basement with only space heaters. The time has come where we need to replace the boiler because not having reliable heat in Minnesota is not an option.

 

 

The best option for Gospel Light at this point is to replace our existing boiler with a new one. To do so, we will need around $150,000. We cannot afford this on our own. We are asking everyday people who believe in being a light in this world to give so that we may continue to be that light in the inner city of Minneapolis. A goal like this seems impossible, but God is one who can do the impossible. We believe He will make a way for us to raise the money so we may be able to be a gospel light for many more years to come.
