Lauren and John's House Fire

First of all, we are very grateful everyone got out and they are safe!! This fund is to raise money to help cover some of the losses and expenses as a result of the house fire on September 7, 2014.  They were able to get out of the house essentially with the clothes they were wearing. Please give if you feel led to do so and pray for them as they rebuild. My sweet daughter has such a positive perspective on everything in spite of disaster. This is Lauren's Facebook post "Here we are, standing barefoot in the rain, having lost our home tonight to flames. Today, I was stressed by life's questions, and now I'm humbled by an unexpected reminder that I have what I need, which is very little: my husband, my dog, and an umbrella from a neighbor. Who knows what's left of our home, or what tomorrow will bring. It's scary and sad and liberating to remember that it doesn't matter. As we wait for firemen and cops to do their endless work, we'd be grateful for any prayers, love, and good energy you can spare. We're thankful that we were home, awake, and that Herbie alerted us to danger."
