Hi guys! Basically, to raise for charity, I've decided that if I can raise at least £500, I will shave off all my hair (to at least grade 5..)! Now I love my hair, but this charity is very worthwhile, so please be as generous as you can :D.
The charity I'm raising money for is called Bread and Life International, for whom two of my lovely flatmates will be volunteering this summer. Here's some information from them:
"This summer, Kerry, Denyse and I (Sarina), along with a whole bunch of other talented and lovely individuals will be making our way to Nepal for short term mission with a charity called Bread and Life International.
We will be spliting our time between two remote villages: Benepa and Ghorthali. Ghorthali in particular was very badly affected by the devastating earthquake last year as it is very close to the epicentre and still needs much rebuilding.
In our time there, we will be setting up medical and dental clinics and providing free health care, helping to rebuild permanent homes, setting up water filters for clean water, teaching kids at school and providing livestock for people to make a sustainable living. We will also be working with the Churches in and around the villages and assisting in teaching and sharing."
I'm absolutely terrified (I really am), but I genuinely think this is all for such a good cause! Thank you :D
