Amazing Young Man Needs Our Help!

I am reaching out on behalf of a friend for help! One of the blessings that came from my sons service mission to Africa was that our family has become really close to a young man named Loveridge who lives in Zimbabwe. He is a kind, hardworking, wonderful man! Loveridge was orphaned at the age of 10 and was disowned by the aunt he was living with when he decided to join a different church and go on a service mission. He has no family at all. When I found out that he had no one to help him and was in very desperate circumstances, we decided to add him to our family! Because there are very few job opportunities in Zimbabwe, we decided that he could make an income raising chickens! We helped him to buy 300 chicks that he successfully raised. Last Wednesday he sold his chickens to a restaurant for $1000 and he called me very excited that he could pay his bills, reinvest in more chicks, and put some money aside to finish his education! Shortly after talking to him, he was attacked by a gang of men who beat him into a coma and took all of his money! He was in the hospital in a coma for 4 days before he woke up and had his landlady contact me. Now, he has not only lost everything that he had worked so hard for, but he has hospital bills, physical therapist bills, he needs to buy crutches and medication plus pay his regular expenses! I wish I was able to take care of him on my own, but I need some help! If any of you have the ability to help this good man, we would be eternally grateful!
