Nonprofit Start Up Costs

Hello, our names are Jennifer and Pamela and we are the Co-Presidents of the newly formed nonprofit “Signed, An Ausome Parent”. To get up and running we need your help with any monetary donations you can provide. Some of our startup costs include office space, podcast equipment, and advertising materials. Autism affects every member of the family it touches. Autism has no race, no color, no nationality. Autism is not genetic; it can affect anyone and any family without warning, fault or cause. Autism affects families across the globe yet the level of care and resources across the globe vary from country to country and state to state.

Autism is defined as a serious developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact. This definition does not even begin to define what some autism families are experiencing; from destructive behavior, repetitive and/ or constant moving to self harm. There is no pill to cure those with autism; only therapies. Yet low income families have to choose between proper therapies and providing financially for their households.

Our goal is to do all that we can to alleviate some of the financial worry for families so that they can begin to focus more energy on the total wellness of themselves and those in their family affected by autism.
