Funds for Chris and his children

Donation protected
The out pour of love being shown right now is more meaningful than we'll ever be able to put into words. The world lost a beautiful and just down right talented soul. There has been a number of people who have reached out and asked to help by way of donating. This fund is for those of you who would like to donate. Thank you SO much!

A little bit about what happened:

On Thursday July 23rd Bryan, Chris' brother, received a phone call from Chris' work asking about Chris because they hadn't heard from him. Apparently he called out on Wednesday, but they hadn't heard from him that Thursday. After Bryan got off work he went to Chris' apartment to check in on him. It took some time for Chris to answer the door. Bryan asked him if he was okay and what was going on. Chris reassured Bryan he was fine, he was just getting over the flu, but he was just having a hard time waking up. Bryan left, but after talking to him we thought it best that he go back because him having a hard time waking up seemed like a red flag. Bryan went back and asked what his symptoms were and said that he should see a physician. Chris didn't want to leave and risk being exposed to COVID, he had been so careful all these months. Bryan asked what he could get him and so he went to the pharmacy and got some flu medicine and such and took it back to him. Bryan again said that he really should go see a doctor and Chris again was adamant that he was fine. Bryan asked where his phone was and he said Toni had hid it and he didn't know where it was. Bryan asked that he find it and have it on him in case he needed to contact Bryan/we could contact him.

The next day no one was able to get a hold of him, his phone is turned off. Bert, Chris' dad, went to check in on him and knocked, but no one answered. The management in his apartment complex wouldn't open the door without the police there. So Bert called the police, they told him he needed to contact the office to ask for a welfare check. Finally was able to get through that hoop and the police and EMTs were dispatched to his apartment around 6:30pm and pronounced him dead then. Bryan arrived shortly after and it was then he was told.

This has come as a complete shock to us all. Unfortunately, with COVID we aren't sure what the funeral will look like, but I will post funeral arrangements here and on his page if friends are able to attend. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
