Well Friends and Family the time is finally here. My amazing wife is going to be going into the operating room in less than three weeks where they will remove the tumor that has caused her so much pain for so very long. As you more than likely know Chelsea was diagnosed with a Vestibular Schwannoma on June 6th. After the first surgeon refused her because she was married to me, a woman, he told other surgeons in the area to turn us away because he felt she is "mentally ill" because she is in a same sex marriage. We were turned away by another after him and finally got our approval to USC where the best neurosurgeon in the country and his protégé will be going in as a team in an 8 hour surgery to do their absolute best to not only save her life, but to give her the ability to live an absolute normal life again after healing and physical therapy, they'veasked to keep the tumor because it is so extremely rare and so few have been removed successfully. They are beautifully accepting of our marriage and love for eachother and have even promised me that I can be with her during her time in the ICU (4 Days minimum) and with her when they move her to her room post-ICU where she will possibly spend 2 plus weeks. I will be taking up to month off of work to support her and stay by her side through the hard part, recovery. We were recently blessed with a very nice reliable vehicle to get us to and from LA and post-op trips back to USC for scans, tests, pt, and anything she may need. We will need to stay at the hotel next to USC for three days before she is admitted for pre-op tests, covid screening, and planning for her stay with them. Driving to and from LA three days in a row will be to much for her to handle so we will need to get a room. Due to me taking the time off of work to take care of my wife we will have absolutely no income, so this is where I am begging for help and blessings for our friends and family we have left . Please help us. We won't be able to survive financially, with bills, gas, and basic survival without your help. So im asking, with everything in my heart and soul, please help us if you can and please share this link in as many places as you can with anyone you may know or even people you don't and groups you are members of. My teens will hold down the fort while we're at USC and I have faith that they will do everything possible for them to help and support their mothers the best way they can. I promise after this is all over and she is once again healthy, we won't need to ask for help again, but right now, by the grace of everything, we need your help more than ever. With respect, care, best wishes for you and your family, prayer, and love,
