THE NEED: A Safe Home -and- Car.
The video tells the story. Nailah is a single mother of 2-beautiful kids. She was preparing for work in the morning while getting her little ones ready and off to bed. Without warning, on Tuesday November-12th, a car plowed directly into their living room, just moments before it completely totaled their family car.
Nailah-Love Roache is an amazing mom who juggles her work at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, completing college courses to finish her degree, as well as her most important job; raising two great kiddos.
The impaired driver rendered them houseless and stranded without the car, the one she desperately needs to get to work each day and her kids off to school.
Can you help? This family is doing things the right way, working hard, and striving for a good future. Through no fault of their own, they've found themselves in need of a new place to live and a drivable car.
Thank God she had just moved the couch away from the living room window he plowed through, we're grateful for that unforeseen miracle, as well as your kind generosity.
