What does it mean to Party with a Purpose?

This month, Deep Down Inside has partnered with The Walker Foundation to bring you a line up of our talented DDI Resident DJ’s who will spin at our newest event titled “Party With a Purpose” — where each $15 ticket will go towards meals for those who are experiencing houselessness in downtown Calgary.

Date: May 18th 2025

Time: 9:00PM - 2:00AM

Cost: $15.00 donation per person

Location: Common Underground - 731 10 AVE SW

(Backdoor Entrance of Commonwealth)

For entry to the event, please make a donation of at least $15.00 to this Go Fund Me, at the door you can show a copy of your donation receipt. You are welcome to donate however much you feel comfortable. Payment at the door upon entry will be honoured.

After show expenses, all profits will go directly towards supplies and groceries needed to prepare and distribute hot meals, snacks, deserts and drinks for those who are experiencing houselessness in Downtown Calgary.

Musically, you can expect a soundclash of genres encompassing the deep down inside roster. Sets ranging from House, Afro House, UKG, Techno and open format. Artist time slots and their genres will be announced closer to the date of the event so you can plan accordingly if you're not into experiencing the entire showcase.
