Please Help me, Help my Dad out with my Medical

Donation protected
Hey, my name is Meredith, I’m 12 years old, in 7th grade, and I was recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I’m raising money to help my dad with my medical expenses since he is a single dad of 3. He is a super hard worker, and selfless man, and spent a lot of the money that he saved up from the past year or two. He was saving that money to move all of us (my brothers and I) to Nashville to follow his career as a Sound engineer, but then I got sick.

On November 14th, 2022 I was at school and my stomach felt kinda weird, and then I ended up vomiting all over the school hallway. I ended up going to the nurse's office where I just laid down until my dad got there. The school nurse had advised my dad to keep an eye on me because I was pale and looked very off. I couldn’t eat or drink anything without vomiting after I left school. Then the next morning, I let my dad know that I really did not feel well at all. He called the doctor's office, and they suggested to him that if I kept vomiting, then he needed to bring me into the doctor's office. I felt so bad I just ended up curled up into a ball outside of his room while waiting for him to get dressed. It was a little traumatic for me because I had to be rushed to the hospital, and I couldn’t even walk, and my dad carried me inside the ER.
Next thing I know I’m in the hospital and I get the news that I have Type 1 Diabetes and my blood sugar was at 853. Then I was immediately transferred to the pediatric ICU I stayed there for 4 days. On day 4, He had to leave to go to work(a concert) then returned at 5 am the next morning, and my mom came and stayed with me. While he was at work, they notified him I was able to be transferred to the floor of the hospital. Then we made a book about herp the dog(which is a story for another time).
For a while, I was just in denial and felt sad and angry but then I just realized that this is real and not some crazy dream. Now I’m okay and doing good and I am a pretty decent human being. The school nurse is kind of my hero because when my dad called her, she said to take me to the hospital. However before everything happened I was very active and I still am, I love to go hiking It's one of my favorite things to do.

Thanks for reading my story I hope you have a wonderful life.
