Victory for Valerie

My wife Valerie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015. She underwent surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy for a year. She was cancer free for 6 months, then the cancer metastasized to some of her bones. She started more treatment, doing gamma knife surgery in her brain, radiation, and more chemotherapy. This treatment has helped, cutting her tumor markers in half in 3 months! Unfortunately, her current insurance carrier became inactive (abruptly) and her chemotherapy came to a halt. We are able to get assistance from the drug company for the actual chemotherapy meds she needs ( they are about $20,000.00 a piece,) but we need help in covering doctor's visit, ATU visits (to administer the chemo meds), and other prescription meds that she needs as part of her treatment. We are in the process of obtaining alternative insurance for Valerie, though this may take weeks or months. She will need her chemotherapy to continue while this process takes place!
