We are starting this site to raise money to bless The Small Family and help meet the financial need. They have poured and continue to pour the love of Jesus into so many over the years. Below is their story, thank you in advance for your love offering.
The Small family made the move back to San Antonio mid June when Genny was 36 weeks pregnant with her 8th child, a boy. 2 weeks later she discovered a large lump on her right breast. She showed her OBGYN and got a core needle biopsy the following day. On July 30th their life would be changed. They heard the words your biopsy came back positive for Cancer. Genny's breast cancer was diagnosed as stage 2 Triple Negative. 2 days after the diagnosis they induced the baby at 39 weeks. He ended up in the NICU for 13 days from tearing a hole in his lung from taking in too much amniotic fluid. While the family lived back and forth at the Nicu Gen was undergoing various scans and tests and meeting with her team to decide what treatment plan would be best. The plan is 8 rounds of dose dense chemo every 2 weeks, surgery and then radiation.
The family is currently paying both rent and a mortgage, and need to pay their high medical deductible.
We have full confidence that God will heal Genny and use this testimony for His glory.
