My name is Meghan Bowman, I am married to a wonderful husband and we have three wonderful boys. Joshua is 9, Noah is 7, and Andrew is 5, and we are facing eviction.
We live in a townhouse in Stephens City, VA. We love where we are and really do not want to move. Noah and Andrew are Autistic. Noah also has anxiety. Andrew also has Developmental Delay and Muscle Hypotonia. Joshua has emotional and behavioral problems due to having two special needs younger brothers. I am unable to work because the boys have therapy and appointments that I need to take them to. Also, because taking care of two Autistic children is a full time job in itself.
My husband works a full time job, but he does not make enough to support our family. Even though we are close to the poverty line we do not qualify for any government assistance with the exception of Medicaid.
We have exhausted all of our resources and our landlord is getting impatient with us. We have always gotten ourselves somewhat back on track but this time we are having a really hard time doing it again.
If we are evicted and have to uproot our children from a home that they have known for four years, it will be devastating to them. Especially Noah and Andrew, who because of the Autism need consistency and structure.
I set up this account in the hopes of raising some funds to help us to keep from getting evicted and to keep the consistency and structure that our children need in order to get through life.
