E. Roy’s medical fund

On Thursday September 6, 2018, my Dad was involved in a motorcycle accident in which he was severely injured.  At the scene of the accident he refused to allow the ambulance to leave until I arrived to take care of his wife, Linda, who has been suffering from excruciating and immobilizing sciatic nerve pain in her lower back. The motorcycle did not survive but miraculously he has.  Despite being hit from the side by a truck traveling at highway speeds he “only” suffered a broken neck and 8 broken ribs.  He has a long recovery ahead of him but we hope that he can he mobile enough by Christmas to resume his hobby of playing Santa for the children of his community. He is an active member of the Morrison Zion Lutheran Church and is a respected member of his community.  The goal of this page is to raise money to cover unforeseen medical costs, rehab, and any in-home items that may be required to allow easier access to his home.
