Değerli kardeşlerimiz,
Gözlerimizin aydınlığı olan yavrularımız, Rabbimizin bizlere birer lütfu ve emaneti olarak, tertemiz bir yaratılışla dünyaya gelmişlerdir. Yüce Allah’ın ilk emri: “Seni yaratan Rabbinin adıyla oku…” (Alak, 1) olduğuna göre çocuklarımıza, kitapların en yücesi Kur’an’ı öğretmek bizlere yüce Rabbimiz’in hoşnutluğunu kazandıracaktır. Sevgili Peygamberimiz: “Kim Kur’an okur ve onunla amel ederse, kıyamet günü anne ve babasına, ışığı güneş aydınlığından daha parlak bir taç takılır ve yine onun anne ve babasına değeri dünyalara değişilmez iki elbise giydirilir. Onlar: ‘Bize niçin giydirildi?’ diye sorduklarında; kendilerine: ‘Çocuğunuzun Kur’an öğrenmesinden dolayı diye cevap verilir” buyurmaktadır.
Siz degerli kardeslerimizin de bildigi gibi, Amerika gibi bütün imkanlarin elimizin altında olduğu bu topraklarda, hepimiz cocuklarimizin Kur'an, din, dil ver kulturel egitimlerini kisitli imkanlarla karsilamaya calismaktayiz. Camilierimiz, Kur'an kurslarimiz ve evlerimizde bu kutlu vazifeyi en iyi sekilde yerine getirmeye calisiyoruz. Bizlerde bu kutlu davaya ve goreve bir nebze katkimiz olsun amaci ile, Glassboro'da Cami ve Kur'an kursumuzu bir muddet once, once Allah'in izni ve sonra sizlerin yardimlari ile hizmete acmistik. Allah'a hamd olsun, su ana akadar her sene artan ogrenci sayimiz ile South Jersey’deki yavrularimiza her gecen gun daha etkin ve kalici bir egitim vermeye baslamis bulunuyoruz.
Bu amac ve gaye ile, Glassboro Education Center' olarak, South Jersey deki musluman cocuklarimizin dil, din ve kulturel egitimlerini en verimli sekilde verebilmek icin yatili kursumuzu acmak icin calismalarimiza baslamis bulunuyoruz. Allah’in izni ve sizlerin yardimlariyla, insallah onumuzdeki aylarda eksiklerimizi gidererek kursumuza baslamak arzusundayiz. Su ana kadar Camimizde bu amacla tadilatlar devam etmektedir.Insaat masraflarimiz icin $50,000 civarinda harcamalarimiz olacaktir.
Ayrica, kursumuzun temel ihtiyaclari arasinda, ranza, yatak, yorgan, masa, sandalye, kirtasiye ve mutfak ihtiyaclari gibi en temel ihitiyaclarimiz da vardir. Bu yolda, Allah rizasi icin sizlerin de yardimlarini beklemekteyiz. Insallah, yardimlarinizla Amerikadaki cocuklarimizin Kur’an ogrenmelerine vesile olmus olup, onlarinda bizlerden sonra gelecek olan nesilleri yestirmelerine de vesile olmus olacagiz.
Unutmayalım! Ağaç yaş iken eğilir. Çocuklarımızın Kitap’ını, dinini öğrenmeye vesile olmak, her anne-babanın görevidir. Anne-baba Çocuklarına Kur’an öğretmekle yavrularının dünya ve ahiret saadetine nail olmalarına ve huzurlu bir ömür sürmelerine yardımcı olmuş olur.
Alemlerin efendisi, Allah Resulu “Sizin en hayirliniz, Kur’an-i ogrenen ve ogretendir” buyurmustur. Yine bir baska Hadisi Serif te Efendimiz SAV buyurmusturki “İnsanoğlu öldüğü zaman, bütün amellerinin sevabı da sona erer. Şu üç şey bundan müstesnadır: Sadaka-i câriye, istifade edilen ilim, kendisine dua eden hayırlı evlat."
Allah hepimizden razi olsun ve yukarida ki hadisi seriflerin sirrina mashar eylesin Insallah.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Our children are joy of our lives that our Lord has entrusted to us as a blessing. Since almighty Lord’s first command was "Read the name of your Lord who created you ..." (Relevance: 1) teaching our children the supreme book of the Qur'an will give us the Lord's supreme satisfaction. Our beloved Prophet (s.a.w) said, “Whoever recited the Qur’an, studied it, and acted according to what it contains; on the Day of Judgment his parents will be dressed with a crown of light, its brightness is like that of the sun. And his parents will be adorned with two bracelets, of which the whole world is not equivalent to them [in worth]. So they will say, ‘Why are we being adorned with these?’ It will be said, ‘This is because of your child taking [the recitation, teaching and acting upon] the Qur’an.”.
In order to achieve this holly goal and to meet our Lord satisfaction, we have established the Glassboro Mosque and Education Center in Glassboro, NJ. Our aim is to help our children and the generations after to learn Islam and Qur’an as best and correctly as possible. With Allah’s permission and the support of our brothers and sisters, we have been able to provide after school and weekend programs for our children for the past several years. We are now in the process of starting our boarding school for our children. We have already started the construction and conversion of our building to accommodate our students overnight. This will allow us to give advanced lessons both in Islamic studies and the Qur’an.
With your help, we hope to complete the construction and furbish our classrooms and dormitories as soon as this spring, thus, we need the help of our brothers and sisters. We currently have a project cost of out about $50,000 to complete the project. We look forward to your donations and prayers.
Let us not forget! A tree can only be bent while it’s still a sapling. Helping our children learn Quran and Islam is the responsibility of every one of us, and the best time to teach them is when they are still younf and a “sapling”. By teaching our children Quran and Islam, we will help them reach a happy life both in this world and the other world.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it.”
Yet in another Hadith, our Prophet (s.a.w) said "When mankind dies, their deed book is closed and nothing else will be written with the exception of three things. These three things are: Their Charity, their knowledge that benefits mankind and the good children who pray to him. "
