The funeral will be on Monday, September 8 at Anderson Funeral Home (Escanaba, MI), starting at 2pm - 5pm for visitation, funeral will begin at 5pm. Luncheon to follow at the Civic Center.

As I'm sure everyone has heard by now, tragedy has struck our town. Our Heather was taken from us. My grandmother has been left with two children to take care of and a funeral to plan. Heather's two children are left motherless & fatherless. Anything that anyone can help would be greatly appreciated, as Heather was the primary income earner of the household. We have a great community, that often comes together during times like this. Thank you.

Her estranged husband, has been charged "felony charge of homicide/open murder, statutory and short form, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison."
