I'm making a cross-country move from Spokane, WA, to my hometown of Knoxville, TN. For the last few years I have lived in the PNW, which has been a great learning experience and a beautiful opportunity in general. However, I've reached a crossroads where I understood it is no longer reasonable to try and sustain my life out here for various emotional and logistical reasons. My job security has suffered, I've encountered numerous unexpected financial hits, and I don't have any social support in my city. I would really like to have the opportunity again to be there for my family and friends in the southeast. I know they'd benefit from and enjoy having me around again, and I'd be much healthier being back inside a community and social network that is physically close.
I am asking for those who would be interested if they would like to help support a few core costs to the trip:
-Gas (I will be driving ~3,500 miles, a longer trip than going straight across because I will be cutting down through the south to avoid the frigid conditions)
-Lodging along the way (~7 nights hotel)
-Food
-Any potential unexpected emergency / Vehicle Failure / Relevant Maintenance
I would be extremely grateful for any help, I've been worried about what it's going to take to make this move happen and also what tools I'd be equipped with if I were caught in an emergency, this would secure my ability to tackle everything safely. Thanks for listening!
