Help bury Raziel in Mexico

Raziel Mireles was a bright student and a loving son and brother. He drastically lost his life while trying to retrieve a soccer ball for some younger children after it fell into a pond at a local park. Sadly, his 20 year old brother Uriel died almost a year earlier from an illness.  His family has limited means and flying Raziel to Mexico  to be buried will be an enormous financial burden to the family. My my name is Rob Mitchell. I live in West Grove Pennsylvania, a small town 60 miles southwest of Philadelphia.  I saw a news article which described the events surrounding Raziel's drowning. I was touched by his courage and compassion to help others. I learned later that he was a student at the local high school where my wife teaches. She had Raziel's brother as a student  and  told me about the financial hardships the family had when the brother passed away a year ago following a brief illness. 

I started this this campaign to raise as much money as possible for Raziel's family as they will be  transporting him to Mexico to be buried. A local church, St. Rocco's in Avondale PA. Is collecting donations for the family. I spoke to Father Frank of the church today to coordinate transfer of the donations to the church . He  said the funds will be used to help with funeral, transportation, and medical bills that are expected as a result of the accident. I plan on providing St. Rocco's a check for the total amount of funds received from gofundme.com.
