Grayson Moser Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
On March 21, 2021 (just two weeks after his 16th birthday) at Children's at Erlanger with family by his side, our precious warrior Grayson Michael Moser was ushered to Heaven by our Savior Jesus Christ. Our hearts are torn to a million pieces because we loved him so dearly, but we rejoice that he is no longer suffering and that we will see him again one day because of our salvation in Jesus. We are relieved that he no longer has to suffer through treatments, huge quantities of medications, vomiting, low vision, hemiparesis, seizures, a big bald spot on his head from radiation, doctors appointments, needle sticks, hospital stays, ER trips, and so many other awful things a child should not have had to go through these last two years during his brain cancer journey.

We told him in his final hours that we hope he enjoys playing golf, video games, and percussion (especially the marimba) as much as he wants in Heaven with completely whole and healed working arms and legs and perfect vision and lots of energy. We told him we will meet him again some day and he can start designing homes for each of us in Heaven. (He wanted to be an architectural designer one day.)
We asked for prayer that his transition would go peacefully. We were scared he might have seizures or gasp for air. God was with us the whole time and he allowed Grayson to leave his earthly body very peacefully. And it was shortly after five of our church pastors/leaders came to visit and pray with us and sing Amazing Grace and I'll Fly Away. That encouraged us so much.

Our church has organized a meal train for our family and it's full. We thank you all so much for your love, encouragement, and financial support along this most difficult journey. Please continue to be here for us in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead. If you don't know what to say, that's OK. Just say, "I'm thinking of you or I'm praying for you." If I think of specific things our family needs, I'll let you all know. The most hurtful thing you can do to a parent who lost their child is to ignore them because it's too awkward for you.  Your life may get back to normal, but they will need love and encouragement for years to come.

We thank you all for your love, support, and prayers. We will share funeral arrangements once they have been made, which may take a few days. We know this new chapter in our lives, living without Grayson, is going to come with heartache and grieving, but we also know that God is our source of strength, peace, hope, and grace, and he will give us what we need at the time we need it.
Grayson fought a good fight, finished the course, and kept the faith. - 2 Timothy 4:7

Update: Obituary and Funeral Arrangments can be found on Companion Funerals website .  Visition will be 2-6 pm Mon, Mar 29, 2021 at First Baptist Cleveland, with the celebration of life beginning at 6 pm.  The burial will be private.  Please contact Companion Funerals with any questions.

This GoFundMe account was started in the beginning of Grayson's treatment to help the family with medical expenses and travel expenses for out of state children's hospitals for treatment.  Now it is to help the family with 2021 medical expenses, funeral related expenses, various bills, and missed time from work.  Thank you so much for all your support during the last two years.
