God Belongs In My City event

Fellow Servant of the Lord,

I would like to start off by introducing myself: My name is Ambassador Monzell D. Ford, my wife; Evangelist Obed and I are the founders of our local ministry, Kingdom Minded Worldwide Ministries, where I also serve as Sr. Pastor. We started the God Belongs In My City movement here in Daytona Beach this year being the 1st, 2014. God Belongs In My City is a movement that started in New York City the year of 2009 by a group of young students. These students were moved by a group of Atheists advertising their belief in a campaign stating: “A million New Yorkers are good without God, are you?” This group of young students that were on fire for God were so stirred up that they decided to make a campaign themselves advertising THEIR belief in the God of the Bible. Thus, God Belongs In My City was birthed!

With this passion, these students creatively designed a shirt with the logo of “God Belongs In My City”, start a prayer walk, and not only involve their neighborhood, but all 5 boroughs of New York City, so that they can make a bold statement that has made history. Over 1,500 youth walked from North and South of Manhattan, ending up in a location known to many, Times Square. With this walk, they not only made history not in their town but the nation!

My wife and I and a group of leaders have been inspired to continue this walk every year here in Daytona Beach. With this being said, we are asking the collaboration of all the Pastors, Youth Pastors, Young Adult Pastors, city officials, business owners, and those who have faith in the Lord to join us in this effort. We CANNOT do this on our own! In unity there is power. Jesus stated in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my Name, there I am with them”. Our desire is that this passion will not only burn in OUR hearts, but in the hearts of the people that are on fire, in love with God, that they will join in this revolution well!

This event cannot be a success without YOU, our sponsors. By participating in the walk and other events leading to the main event, your organization will benefit tremendously from the extended exposure through media campaigns and promotional efforts directed towards the supporters of God Belongs In My City.  With your participation, you will join the movement of great influence for the youth of our city to make a statement of saying NO to drugs, crime, and so much more! Help us to speak plans of prosperity over the youth of this city by supporting us in this revolution. We’re counting on your support.
