Dylan's Motorcycle Accident Recovery

Dylan was in a severe motorcycle accident on Saturday night, Nov 16. A Dodge Ram Truck failed to yield right of way and drove across Valley Mills Dr (6 lanes) to take the exit to Bosque Blvd, and didn't see Dylan on his motorcycle. This caused Dylan to swerve and hit the curb. Dylan was thrown off his bike into shrubbery and against a tree. His motorcycle was flipping and rolling then came to a rest 40-60 ft East of Valley Mills Drive We are so thankful that Dylan was wearing full gear and is still with us today. He suffered a major injury. A compound fractured femur bone (Which is one of the hardest bones in the body to break). He had to go into surgery to have a titanium rod and pins put into his leg. Dylan will have to be out of work for some time due to the severity of his injuries, and also go to physical therapy for the next few months.  Unfortunately, he does not have medical insurance and we will be left paying out of pocket for all medical bills. I (his girlfriend, Kayla) will be the only one left working in the household while supporting Dylan thru his recovery (physical therapy, follow-up appts, etc). We also won't be able to have our furbabies around during part of the recovery process due to the risk of them jumping on him or knocking him over. They will be staying with family and/or friends. We appreciate all the love and support we've received during this time!
