We are SO excited to change the status of this page and update the request because it means we, as a community, were able to get Dylan through the first phase of recovery without leaving him in debt AND he is doing so well we are now supporting him in planning for the sober house.
His grandmother, aunt, and uncle visited with him this past weekend and they report the change is remarkable. He was laughing, joking, and full of joy and life; the Dylan they remember. Even more importantly, he has amazing insight, motivation, and drive to overcome his addictions. He is full of hope and sees a future that was absent before.
Dylan was surprised by how many people were supporting him in one way or another. He recognized old coaches who played an integral role in his life as a child, those who knew and loved his father, and others who are touching his life. It meant a lot that so many were standing behind him.
At this point, we are looking to raise the $500 a month for the 4 months in the sober home, pay off the final medical bill ($500), and $500 that can be broken up into gift cards while he is in the sober home to buy clothes or food. So an additional $3,000 to the already amazing $4,000 that has been raised for a total of $7,000.
Thank you again for everything everyone has done so far! Let’s keep lifting him up with encouraging words and prayers. If you can also contribute to the last financial costs we appreciate it as well.

Funds will be withdrawn and given directly to the treatment facility in the next two weeks or sooner if we can reach our goal.
