Pat & Tony Dykes Thomas Fire Relief
Donation protected
Our Aunt Pat and Uncle Tony lost their home to the Thomas Fire right before Christmas. Your donation can help them rebuild their lives.
Loving and doting grandparents, Patricia and Tony Dykes were spending a quiet evening with their daughter when they had to immediately
evacuate their Ventura Foothills home.
But sadly, that night, the fast-moving Thomas Fire engulfed their family home of more than 30 years.
They lost everything they owned, including irreplaceable family heirlooms they planned to pass down to their grandchildren.
Our family is so incredibly grateful our Aunt and Uncle, cousin Stephanie and her dog made it out of harms way just in time. But, after seeing the damage, this unfortunate situation is far from being over.
How Your Donation Can Help
Our family has created this GoFundMe to help support Pat and Tony through this difficult time.
Every little bit will help.
Your donation will go directly to Pat and Tony Dykes to help them pay for rental expenses and costs not covered by homeowner's insurance during the time that their house is being reconstructed.
Most of our family, myself included, has grown up here in Ventura. It weighs heavy on our hearts to see a place, where we shared many family gatherings together, burnt to the ground. We are doing everything we can to help them rebuild, and we are reaching out to our community for support.
Rebuilding a Family Home
Our Aunt Pat and Uncle Tony have fortunately found a temporary rental in Ventura to live in while their house site is under construction. They get to move in January 3, 2018.
They have not been granted access to begin the first steps of rebuilding their home, as of yet. At the moment, we have no knowledge of how long it will take for their house to be rebuilt.
We will keep you updated on the progress. From our family, thank you for your support!
