<div>Byddaf yn cerdded dros 2500 miĺltir o Ferthyr Tudful i Istanbul. Byddai’n codi arian ar gyfer Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos, lleoliad Blynyddoedd Cynnar Cymraeg sydd wedi'i leoli yn un o gymunedau mwyaf difreintiedig Cymru. Mae Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos yn fwy na lleoliad gofal plant. Mae'n achubiaeth i deuluoedd yn y Gurnos, Merthyr Tudful, ardal lle gall tlodi, heriau cymdeithasol, a diffyg cyfle lunio dyfodol plentyn cyn iddynt hyd yn oed dechrau ysgol. Yng Nghylch Meithrin y Gurnos, rhoddir cyfle gwirioneddol i blant ffynnu. Maen nhw'n cael eu croesawu i ofod diogel, gofalgar lle gallant chwarae, dysgu a thyfu. Trwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg, mae'r lleoliad yn cynnig rhodd dwyieithrwydd iddynt, mantais gydol oes a brofwyd i wella gallu gwybyddol, cysylltiad diwylliannol, a chyfleoedd yn y dyfodol. Mae plant yn cael eu cyflwyno i'r Gymraeg o'r cychwyn cyntaf, gan helpu i gadw'r iaith yn fyw ar gyfer cenedlaethau'r dyfodol, nid yn unig mewn ysgolion, ond mewn cartrefi, cymunedau, a bywyd bob dydd. Mae'r Cylch Meithrin yn cefnogi plant mewn ffyrdd sy'n bwysig: · Ymgorffori dwyieithrwydd yn gynnar, meithrin hyder, parch at ddiwylliant ac agor cyfleoedd · Creu profiadau cadarnhaol, a meithringar yn ystod eu blynyddoedd mwyaf bwysig · Annog ffyrdd iach o fyw trwy chwarae, dysgu yn yr awyr agored, a thyfu bwyd · Rhoi mynediad iddynt i fannau gwyrdd ac ymdeimlad o ddiogelwch nad oes gan lawer gartref Gall y math hwn o gefnogaeth gynnar newid y llwybr y mae plentyn yn ei gymryd. Mae Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos yn helpu i adeiladu dyfodol mwy disglair ac iachach i'r genhedlaeth nesaf mewn cymuned sy'n haeddu cymaint mwy. Bydd pob punt a godir drwy'r daith gerdded hon yn mynd yn uniongyrchol i Gylch Meithrin Y Gurnos, gan eu helpu i barhau â'r gwaith hanfodol hwn a chyrraedd mwy o blant sy'n haeddu dechrau gwell. <div>I will be walking from Merthyr Tydfil to Istanbul (over 2500 miles), raising money for Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos, a Welsh-language Early Years setting based in one of Wales’ most deprived communities. Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos is more than a childcare setting. It’s a lifeline for families in the Gurnos, Merthyr Tydfil, an area where poverty, social challenges, and lack of opportunity can shape a child’s future before they’ve even started school. At Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos, children are given a real chance to thrive. They’re welcomed into a safe, caring space where they can play, learn, and grow. Through the medium of Welsh, the setting offers them the gift of bilingualism, a lifelong advantage proven to enhance cognitive ability, cultural connection, and future opportunity. Children are introduced to the Welsh language from the very beginning, helping to keep the language alive for future generations, not just in schools, but in homes, communities, and everyday life. The Cylch Meithrin supports children in ways that matter: · Embedding bilingualism early on, building confidence, respect for culture and opening up opportunities · Creating positive, nurturing experiences during their most crucial years · Encouraging healthy lifestyles through play, outdoor learning, and growing food · Giving them access to green spaces and a sense of safety many don’t have at home This kind of early support can change the path a child takes. Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos helps build brighter, healthier futures for the next generation in a community that deserves so much more. Every pound raised through this walk will go directly to Cylch Meithrin Y Gurnos, helping them to continue this vital work and reach more children who deserve a better start.
