Assistance needed

Rose and Dale were married for 15 years. Over this past year, Dale suffered  a second heart attack and underwent brain surgery this past fall where they needed to put in a shunt.  Most recently, Dale had been living with dementia.

Dale had a $100,000 life policy with AAA and always made the payments on time.  He was supposed to make a payment on November 19 and  did not pay it.  December 19 was the end of the grace period. He died December 25. 

Rose never knew about this policy but he always told her that he had one. He was the only one with knowledge of financial matters.  He did not want Rose to worry about finances however, he was hiding the fact that they were far behind on bills.  This happened  because their income diminished greatly this year and they were left with two small SSI Checks.

Now the medical and utility bills are coming in and she is trying very hard to keep herself above water. 

This is a very difficult situation to have lost Dale but also to be in this sudden unknown financial dilemma.
