Smarty Pants Yoga Program

I am a fifth grade teacher at a low income charter school in Chicago. Yoga has been used in many of the classrooms at our school to help students focus all their energy and attention. 

My goal for this school year is to bring Smarty Pants Yoga, which is an after school program, to my campus. This program encourages girls to feel empowered while focusing on literacy and emotional development through yoga.

The money raised will give every girl a yoga mat, snacks, and books. The money will also pay for the yoga instructor.
