As you may know, when surveyed we found out that 97% of those who participated in Endow thought more women should experience this transformative message. The survey also revealed that the main barrier for gaining new participants was our price, so we made a 75% cut, now all studies are $19.95.
Within the first week of announcing this change we had 494 women signed up for a group, compare that to last year, where for all of August, we had 197 women signed up. This is a 251% Increase – within a week of the announcement!
With all this excitement and growth, we are seeing that our website cannot keep up. The number one complaint women voiced in the survey was our website – very difficult to navigate, understand, and register for studies. The number one reason for calls into the main office is the website.
Our current website, in addition to being very difficult to navigate, understand, and use is also dangerously outdated. We can no longer install Word Press code updates or new versions in the site. Thus, its functionality is regularly decreasing. Too much “one-off, legacy” code was used in building it (due to budget constraints in the past) that means it will cease functioning if software updates are applied. It truly is a ticking time bomb that will fail, the only question is when.
This is a great problem to have! More women than ever before are interested in Endow's study programs and if we reach our goal of raising $10,800 we’ll be able to accommodate them by doing the following: Remove the single greatest barrier left to reaching 100,000 women with Endows message of Joy, Freedom and Dignity, cut Endows ongoing cost by the equivalent of one part-time person, remove the single greatest barrier remaining to training and certifying new facilitators, stream-lined, online application process, streaming, online facilitator training.
