Flood Relief for Diane Gonzales!

Diane Gonzales is a loving mother, daughter and sister, and a dedicated employee of Bahri Logistics in Houston. She recently was forced to flee her home as Hurricane Harvey pushed four feet of water into her one-story house in Houston.
Diane spent some time in a shelter with her brother during the worst of the hurricane, then made her way, with a rickety truck and poor cell service, to a relative's tiny apartment on the other side of Houston. After leaving the shelter, she was stranded at a gas station for a while, but she perservered and finally got to dry land.
Like many Houstonians, Diane has no flood insurance. Now, Diane is sleeping on a loveseat in her sister's small apartment while she waits for FEMA to inspect her home and determine what of her possessions can be salvaged and what is a total loss. Diane's car was also underwater, so the status of her transportation going forward is quite unclear.
Diane, like many, many, Houstonians, needs our help to begin the rebuilding process. She will need to replace most of her furniture, appliances and personal belongings that were damaged by the flood. And, like many other other Americans, Diane has spent most of her life raising her son and caring for her mother and other family members, so she has very modest means to rebuild with.
We, at Bahri in Baltimore, MD, have been inundated with calls from staff, vendors, customers and friends requesting how to best assist Diane, or any of our employees displaced by Harvey. We're hoping that this site will be one way to help her out with her expenses.
